Bio
Carla Neuss is a playwright, art consultant, and doctoral student currently pursuing her PhD in Theatre and Performance Studies at UCLA. She earned her B.A. in English Literature at U.C. Berkeley in 2008 and her Master’s at Oxford University in 2011.
Her research interests focus on the intersection between medieval theatre and cognitive theory and questions of cognitive impact of live performance.
As a playwright, six of her plays have been staged across the United States and United Kingdom. She also has consulted with urban planners on the development of community spaces.
